Welcome to my website! As my URL implies, I am a student teacher. The main purpose of this site is to showcase my school project for my first semester in Simon Fraser University's Professional Development Program (PDP) . It will also include photos, a chance to contact me and contribute to the site, and resources I have found useful.
This is the second incarnation of my project. I initially started with a shoebox filled with cards that could be pulled out at random. I like the idea of pulling out a card, holding it, reading the front, then opening it up to read more (such a tactile experience!)
But I wanted to be more accesible to family, friends, and others who are interested. I also wanted to provide links and useful resources.
So here's to my first web page!

My Project: The ABC's of 401/402
This project was created with a dual purpose in mind. First, to offer an introduction to concepts and vocabulary used within Simon Fraser University's (SFU) PDP. I envisioned this as succint and simple. Second, to allow the reader to view the thought processes and experiences of an individual student teacher (me).
It may seem eclectic, scattered, and disjointed but it is all interconnected. Issues, concepts, experiences, and thoughts often overlap and this should be recognized by the reader (you).
